Jane Caryl, CEO

Jane Caryl has over twenty years of experience in the recruiting industry. She has the unique ability to distill and communicate the essence of a job, which results in her finding the best candidates for her clients' positions. For fifteen years, she owned Group 3 Personnel, where she placed permanent, temporary, and bilingual staff. In 1989, she merged her company with a larger firm, where Ms. Caryl often became frustrated by having to place extremely bright college graduates in largely administrative positions. She founded Recruiting Intelligence, Inc. in 1996 and set out to find clients who appreciated and sought out the talented candidates she specialized in.

Ms. Caryl holds a BFA from the Tyler School of Fine Art at Temple University, and her art is in the permanent collection of the Free Library of Philadelphia. She began her career as an art director and children's book illustrator. She started on her entrepreneurial path by developing and selling painted neckties which were featured in the Time/Life Craft Series, and by inventing a new type of playing cards that were manufactured and nationally distributed by US Playing Cards. Ms. Caryl has been affiliated with the Manhattan Chamber of Commerce, the Columbia Business School Alumni and the Financial Women's Association, and she is also the founder of the Business Forum of New York.
